LtCol Walter Ronald Huf
April 25, 1936 - February 22, 2007
    

Walter Ronald Huf, a resident of Bluffton for over 20 years, passed away, Thursday, February 22, 2007 in Greenville, SC.Capt Huf

Born April 25, 1936, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Walter and Julia Petri Huf. He was retired with 22 years of service from United States Marine Corps and received the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. During his military career, he served a tour of duty in the Vietnam War.

Surviving are his children: Karl S. Huf; Erik A. Huf; and Julie Huf-Murphy; and his stepchildren: Linda Sams; Jamie Lawrence; John Lawrence; Happy Lawrence; and Suzee Geimer.

He was predeceded in death by his first wife Gloria Nicoll Huf, and by his second wife Joanne T. Lawrence-Huf.

Services and burial will take place on Friday April 13th, 11:00am at The Beaufort National Cemetery.
